About Me

Hey everyone! I am a senior at Boise State and will soon be graduating with a degree in marketing! Like most people my age, I have a job and many responsibilities that take up most of my free time (if you can even call that free time). But one thing I make sure I make time for is music. Music has always been a HUGE part of my life, and although my taste may have evolved over time, my love for music has never wavered. I love all types of music, but the one that I will travel hundreds of miles to hear, experience, and will always have my heart is EDM. I have traveled all over to see different shows and experience different festivals. In this blog I will be sharing my experiences as well as comparing different festivals & venues, and for those who have never been to an EDM festival/show I will walk you though what to expect and the must-haves. Can't wait to take this journey with all of you!

    I am really excited to see some of the content that you will post! I've never been to an EDM festival, concert or anything (I'm a country music lover.) So, it will be cool to see what they are like!

    I am a music lover, and I love all types of music. I may not be as passionate about EDM as you, but I am very excited to see what all of these music festivals are like! I have never been to any type of music festival, and I hope you will show me what I am missing!!

Zedd

Zedd played at  WaMu  Theater in Seattle, Washington on September 30th. When you walked into WaMu you walked right into the stage area. This was very strange in comparison to how other shows have been set up. It was like you walked in and you were right there where the music was. I personally was not a fan. I understand it was a smaller show then the last time I was at WaMu for DADA LAND. When I first walked in I thought that was maybe where one of the openers was playing on the stage and around the corner was the main stage where we would be watch Zedd play. However, it was the main stage and it was a little off putting, to say the least. I got there too late to hear any of the opening DJs; which is always fun to hear new music, so Zedd was on right away. Zedd always throws down at any show. I would highly recommend going to one of his shows if you have never been to a rave, or an EDM show. His music is more neutral and not that "wob wob wob" bass that everyone seems to asso...

Electric Daisy Carnival

Electric Daisy Carnival  EDC is a three day festival in Las Vegas, Nevada held on the speedway by Insomniac Events. EDC is from 6pm until 6am Friday-Sunday, typically the 3rd or 4th weekend in June.
